Spring has sprung in downtown Mobile! Come out and listen to the soothing
Sounds of live jazz as you lunch in Bienville Square around the historic Ketchum Fountain. Catt Sirten sets up live musicians and the City sets up tables for your enjoyment each Wednesday in the Spring.


To make your Brown Baggin' easier, stop in at your favorite Bienville Square eateries and ask for the Brown Bag special. They will provide you with your lunch to go in a nifty "Brown Bag" that you can easily transport to the Square and recycle in one of Keep Mobile Beautiful's recycle bins! Arts Alive! Hands On. Now an established 3 day arts festival in the heart of downtown, Arts Alive welcomes you to join us for a celebration of the arts as varied as the colors of the rainbow. From recycled fashions to music videos by local musicians and filmmakers, this event will prove to be one of the best yet. Come down for live performances, shop for beautiful artwork and revel in a downtown full of springtime beauty.

Shop for the freshest crop in town! This time of year is our favorite because you can get locally grown: tomatoes, potatoes, sweet corn, cantaloupe, watermelon, seafood, flowers, plants, baked breads, pasta's, casseroles, pies, handcrafted goods and so much more. Stay for live music on the green! Each Saturday through July 28th.

The Mobile Musuem of Art serves as a beautiful backdrop in Langan Park where you can get the freshest spring crops in South Alabama. Shop for locally grown honey, produce, flowers, breads, casseroles, plants, seafood and much more! Enjoy live music, childrens’ activities and free admission to the Museum during the Market. Bring the kids out for some summertime fun to Bienville Square each Thursday and enjoy live entertainment, arts and crafts and visits from The Dauphin Island Sea Lab, the Mobile Police and Fire Departments and much more! Free. Thursdays through July 12th from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.

Second Fridays in downtown have become quite a popular time and place to be!
With the LoDa ArtWalk in its 5th year, the event seems to be getting better each month.

Join downtown art galleries, institutions, studios and unique shops as they open their doors and welcome you inside to see beautiful artwork, sample delicous foods and hear the sounds of the LoDa Artwalk.

That's right, the Dauphin Street Beer Festival is back and we are gearing up for a record year. With the freedom of the hops last year, we expect quite a few new beers to be on the sampling menu.

Market on the Square: 8 a.m. until noon

Join us each Saturday on Cathedral Square for farm fresh flavor! The fall harvest is in, so come and get your fresh greens, fall corn, squash, peppers, sweet potatoes and much more. Also shop for locally produced goods like seafood, wine, handmade candles, pottery, live music and much more. Stay for live music, frolicking in the fountain and breakfast at Spot of Tea. Through Nov. 17th.

Lighting of the Trees in Bienville Square: 5pm until 7pm

The City welcomes in the holiday season with pictures with Santa, live music and much more. Shop in our merry market, enjoy live entertainment. Be sure to be there by 6, as we kick off the holiday season when the Mayor and Santa light up the tree at 6:10!
